Christian, do I understand you have seen a neurologist and they have specifically told you no ALS? And you immediately walked away and proceeded to post more pictures in an ALS forum and state you believe you have atrophy? And this is all after visiting a doctor on the 22nd of May who also said you had nothing to worry about? After which you immediately came and posted pictures of your hands and said you were really worried still? I'm going backwards here, but you report a further two other doctors' appointments, both of which you ALSO walked away not believing them?
So, to boil it down- you have seen at least 4 doctors in the past few weeks who have ALL told you no ALS- and after which you proceeded to come on to an ALS forum and insist people look at pictures of your hands.
Despite the reassurance of quite a few people on this forum and the statements of at least 4 doctors, one of whom is a neurologist, you continue to seek ALS as a diagnosis. You have been on this forum for one year and you are an admitted hypochondriac. It seems you are no longer seeing a psychiatrist for this, as you were under a therapist's care last year.
Please go back to your psychiatrist and work this out with them. It is not appropriate to come back here and persist in asking people who are caring for, or suffering from, a terminal disease to continue to spend time trying to convince you you don't have ALS and then not believe them. Those who are members here are real people who are spending a fair amount of time trying to make you feel better while they are struggling with their own health problems. Please see someone who is equipped to actually help you.
