I am 100% Disability and was just approved for an R1. It appears the SMC R1 was paid but the disability payment was stopped. It was my understanding that I would get both payments. Am I wrong?
Thank you.
Hi guys,

Normally if you get paid for a disability they reduce your pension by the disability amount.
So you end up with the same check every month.

It has to be about an illness that leads to disability that will require physical therapy and the type of physical therapy that patients do. So my questions are, you're age of onset what we're your first symptoms, what physical therapy excercises have you done throughout your illness, what are...
So I retired after 20 years and received a pension which I paid income taxes on for the past 20+ years. Now I have been categorized 100% with ALS. Is the disability taxable? Is my pension taxable like before?
