    Bulbar ALS?

Thanks to you all for taking the time to read this post and answer my questions. I'm a 42 year old Male. For the past month my tongue has felt extremely swollen and sometimes sore towards the back. Occasionally I will get tingly/crawling feelings on the side. It is difficult for me to...

    How are you?

How I hate that question now. It's become almost a default greeting. I know most people are trying to be kind by asking, but I honestly don't know how to answer anymore. I usually just say "We're OK" or "We're hanging in there". But honestly, we're not OK. And I'm sometimes just hanging...

    Ear “throbbing”

Left ear seems to be quite often “throbbing” a little. I have worn hearing aids for several years and have occasionally had this feeling, but not this often and for this long. Could this be ALS related? This kept me up for some time during the night. Could not get back to sleep for awhile.

    Questions about symptoms

Hi everyone. I am posting here for the second time, my first thread being that I was due for an EMG. Worried? Should I go back to neuro?

Hey all, my background is that I am a 57 year old man with no history of neurological disease in my family other than my mother has Alzheimer's. For the last year or two, I've been experiencing weakness in my upper back. I've always been healthy and fit and when I go to the gym these days I...

    Would really appreciate some advice

Firstly, I'm keenly aware what some of you are going thorough, and I'm in awe that you all still give advice and aid to others. A truly good sign of humans overall. Thank you. And I wish nothing but goodness to you all. I'm terrified I have ALS. My main symptoms are arm/leg weakness, some...
