My symptoms, Any help is appreciated.

hello. My name is Brianna and I'm 26 years old. I have read the stickies and out of all the symptoms I've been experiencing the main one that concerns me is atrophy. I'll try to give a brief timeline of my symptoms and any feed back is greatly appreciated. I promise not to drag anything on if me...

    Concerned about continuing symptoms

Hello to all, I am concerned about a couple things going on, and hoping you guys would be able to help me, or give me some ideas on my next step. Everything started about a 1.5-2 years ago. I flew up to Montana for the week to spend time with family. Had a good trip until the end when I got...

Hi everyone; let me introduce myself. My name is Yasmin and I am a 25 year old female. I hate that I’ve come here and I wish I didn’t get to this point because I feel absolutely awful for doing so but the anxiety ended me up in the hospital and I am at my lowest point with this fear or...

    Questions on testing

Thank you for taking the time to read what I have going on. I am a 44 years old mom of two adult children and a 10 year old. Last month, my boss called an ambulance and had me taken to the hospital because I was having problems talking, couldn’t swallow and couldn’t lift my leg and I panicked...

    Concerned

I'm sorry to be posting this but I'd hugely appreciate your insights. I'm a 47 year old man. My first issues was noticing my watch falling off my left arm, which provoked me to notice decreased muscle mass in both forearms. This has been followed by very noticeable loss of muscle mass in both...

    New caregiver

So sad. Husband diagnosed end of December. He's very used to being in charge and making all the decisions. I am a RN/NP. So I know a bit about caregiving. He fights me on all the ways to do things. Slowly he is beginning to listen to me but it's frustrating. I only seem to cry when...

    Bulbar ALS?

Thanks to you all for taking the time to read this post and answer my questions. I'm a 42 year old Male. For the past month my tongue has felt extremely swollen and sometimes sore towards the back. Occasionally I will get tingly/crawling feelings on the side. It is difficult for me to...

    How are you?

How I hate that question now. It's become almost a default greeting. I know most people are trying to be kind by asking, but I honestly don't know how to answer anymore. I usually just say "We're OK" or "We're hanging in there". But honestly, we're not OK. And I'm sometimes just hanging...

    Ear “throbbing”

Left ear seems to be quite often “throbbing” a little. I have worn hearing aids for several years and have occasionally had this feeling, but not this often and for this long. Could this be ALS related? This kept me up for some time during the night. Could not get back to sleep for awhile.
