What are the options when your hands[and feet] become useless? I am just about their now my fingers all move as one so when I left click ii right click at the same time

HAs any one trieD the INTEGRAMO that you suck and Blow in to?

Help! I am really worried that I am about to lose my ability to use the Internet. I wrote most of this using voice recognition software but Even that is becoming difficult to use because my voice is becoming very weak

There are a good range of sip/puff (the ones you blow into and suck air to click things) switches, though I wouldn't know where to get them locally in your country. I've set up switches, so I have some experience, but you'll probably need a more local hands on expert. There are also eyegaze devices and twitch switches, but twitch switches require you to have a constant set of caregivers who can learn to set it up for you. Twitch switches can be used on the smallest muscle movements, but it means they have to be applied the same way every time. If you can still control your breathing and your head/mouth a little, sip/puff switches seem the easiest.

Looking at the Integra Mouse on Enablemart (I've shopped there before and had good experiences with them), you are basically paying 2.5x the price of the components for the convenience of having the system set up for you. If you have a ton of spare cash, it may solve your lack of local switch expert, but if it doesn't work we... $2700 USD is a lot. I'm not sure how they're doing the mouse movement part, but the sip/puff stuff only costs $400 retail. The mouth mouse part can't cost more than another $600 in parts. If you could find someone who could set up a switch system specific to you, it'd be cheaper and have a higher probablility of success.

Don't know about the integramo (is it an air operated switch?) but there are possibilities out there. What about a head or eye operated switch? Are there any specialists in Phuket who could guide you through all the stuff out there? In my opinion it's good to find something that needs the least effort to use but also won't be redundant if another function is lost I hope you find something to keep you online-so important

Just posted, but it's gone to moderation. No matter. Becky has given you more detailed info anyway. Hoping you find something suitable.

I use a type called Wivik that uses an on screen keyboard and a webcam that follows a dot on my glasses.

Check out CameraMouse.org. It is free and uses a users webcam.

Hopefully here are a few things that you can check out and do an Internet search on the keywords in quotes.

"Point-N-Click" can allow you to do many mouse functions using only a single mouse button. This may help you in the short term, as you could disable your right mouse button physically, and yet get all of the mouse options you still need. But it's also very useful if you start using a head mouse.

"Camera Mouse" is a free program where you can use a standard WebCam as a head mouse by tracking a facial feature.

"SmartNAV" by NaturalPoint is a nice head mouse that has a sensor to track a reflective dot that you place on your forehead/glasses/etc. It is more precise than the camera mouse above.
"HeadMouse Extreme" by Origin is another popular head mouse. It's not as configurable as the natural point though.
Both of the above have a input jack where you can use a adaptive switch to function as the mouse clicks instead. There are probably other options as well, but those are the two that I see the most.

“Dasher” is a popular typing program. It's much different than a typical on-screen keyboard however.
"Click-N-Type" is also a popular on-screen keyboard

"AutoHotkey" is just something I've been playing with. It allows you to pretty simply remap mouse buttons/joystick buttons to other functions. So you could remap an easy to push joystick/game pad button as the left mouse button. Or use it to turn on/off your microphone.

Generally, once people are not able to use a head mouse, they look to an eye gaze/tracking system.

Hopefully this can give you some ideas.

Brian

We haven't heard much about "Mighty Mouse" in a while. This has the possibility to be hands free and no eye gizmos to work with either.
