Im a 20 year old male

4 days ago I started having rapid muscle twitches in my lower left thigh.

I noticed by tricep twitching a few times as well as my other thigh but not nearly as much as my lower left thigh towards my knee

The past few days it was non stop all day

Today it was still present but not as rapid as it was the previous days.

im taking a nose spray called fluticasone propionate for my sinus infection, maybe this is what causing the twitching?

It seems to be only twitching when im resting or sitting down, i dont notice it when im walking or exercising because im not really paying attention to it.

I dont really have any weakness

I also tend to worry a lot.

could this be als or something else or am I just overreacting. Ive just never had muscle twitches for this long.

Muscle twitches can be caused by many things. I have twitches and I don't have ALS. Unless there is something that doesn't work, I wouldn't worry about ALS.

BFS or ALS?

About 3 weeks ago I was really stressed out about something. During that time I began to experience big muscle twitches in my lower left thigh towards the leg. It was non stop for about 4-5 days then calmed down. The i started to notice twitches everywhere else but not nearly as rapid.

I went to my GP he tested me for just about everything and he said he thinks it will go away with time.

Im starting to get little fine twitches in my palm near my thumb with sharp pain in my calfs and forearms. The thigh twitches have calmed down but I can still feel little ones. I dont have any weakness really or atrophy that i can see, I feel like I do might im just really stressing out.

Basically my question is does this sound like ALS or BFS ?

Thank you!
