Default Re: EMG atrophy questions

You can not self test. Period. I have been told that a babinski is not reliable even performed by a neurologist if you know what it is.
Opposite arm and leg onset? No, that would not be the way it works. Go see a doctor. Do not post again unless you are told by a neurologist you have definite signs of ALS ( which is not going to happen unless you twist the meaning out of all recognition)

Franco, unlike other internet forums, we keep tight control on this one, since our members are terminally ill and need a safe place. One rule is that we don't diagnose people--that would be irresponsible. Another rule is that we expect you'll take a reasonable answer and then leave--we don't have the time to continue bantering with you.

I'll tell you straight up that you don't have ALS in my opinion. But the rule is: you need to see a doctor. Take the answers you've been given, and see your doc. You are very close to being banned for being a nuisance.
