I have symptoms for about a year now I have weakness in my hands dropping things and I stumble and my muscles twitch. Is there anything else that this could be?

Yes there are many other possibilities. Some are listed in the sticky but you can only narrow things down with the help of a doctor.

My gosh, you must be very concerned about what kind of diagnosis you will get. As Nikki said, there are unfortunately so many choices out there for what is going on with you.
