  • I am glad to hear you are doing well, and you are doing good and productive things:) Everything is the same as far as my pain. My husband and I are closing our cookie business on April 21st. The ecomony is terrible, and it is the best thing we need to do. I still feel the Lord wants me to publish my book I have written. I have been posting two chapters under "A blanket of snow" on the Forum each week. I wanted to help people until it gets published.
I have my writer's conference May 20-24. Big Christian publishers are sending their editors, and I have an opportunity to sit across the table from them and tell them about my book. If they like it, I will be glad to let them publish it:) Whew.....long winded. Anyway, if you think about it, I need a lot of prayer because it is very difficult for me each day at the shop.....it's like a death. A chapter I have also written. And please pray for my conference coming up. You are sweet! Thanks:) ~ Judy

Hi,I've been away from the site for a long time so i'm out of touch.Hope you'll bear with me.But new friends are welcome.I live in Whitehorse Yukon.
Hey Marta, good to hear from you. Just been under the weather on and off again and on again. Still have a hacking cough and a sore throat. I am blessed with the pollen this year. Glad to hear that you are out and about still. Sis is doing fairly well...she is tooling around in her power chair every day. Her clinic visit this month showed not much change which was a blessing. Take care of YOU and hugs 'n' kisses.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hope you able to drag hubby away from the taxes long enough to grab a green beer. :-).

Tim is making corned beef and cabbage. He made a cheesecake for dessert. We are having two couples in for dinner to celebrate the day. I spent all morning, sleeping -- I didn't wake up until 1030. Then I had breakfast in bed and read until he was finished in the kitchen. I found that when he is cooking. It is better, if I am not within sight or I cringed at how he goes about it. :-) One of those things that I haven't quite let go of. :-)
Just dropping by to say hello. I think I may be beating the Dragon -- at least my voice is clear enough that things are going well. I tried to sneak into the tea room earlier but Dorothy caught me lurking around so I had to come out from hiding!LOL

hospice delivered a lift today. If I get any more equipment I will have to move out of the bedroom or build an addition. :-)

How are you doing? From the posts that I read you sound busy. I know what you mean about other people not doing things like you would do and being frustrated over the dust and fingerprints. But in the big picture they don't really matter now do they? Love, you are such a bright spot in my life.
Yeah, mostly, just really tied of it all at the moment, it will pass, as I am sure you know. Just got a bad case of.....what is the point, really....... how many people do I need to educate, how many appointments do I need to attend (only to get nothing but a sad look, a pat on the back for my effort and nothing of real help). I swear I have spent 100's of hours in the last 9 months, getting to and with GP, ENT, Neuro, Gastro, Respiratory Doc's, Speech Therapist, OT's had CAT Scan, round after round of blood work, MRI, EMG, Spectrometry and really all for what......one flipping prescription for 10 mg of Fluox. It just does't seem like good value for time spent. But on a brighter note what does, is talking with you! Ty.
just to let you know, and not to say it is, anxiousness can be caused by lack of oxygen, people do forget that and it is a physical symptom. but i agree there has been some ugliness on here lately and makes me feel less safe here.
Of course I want to be your 'friend!' You are one of the people I seek out whenever I log on! I hope you have a wonderful day!
LOL. I seem to get the Big "M" alot, I'm by guilty by Association. You know since you were in the big house with those big girls named Big Shirley and Harley. You would have thought I got caught sneeking you in brownie's or something.....
