Kind Donor Thanks the Community

A big thank you to the community comes from a recent donor, a donor which felt the need to both give back and to thank everyone involved. This gentlemen recognizes the great service each member, helpful contributor and moderator makes to the site.

We at ALS Forums would like to send a big "Thank You" to Shaun, and to all the contributors to the site that make this such a wonderful place to receive care, compassion and much needed knowledge about ALS.

Shaun's words of encouragement are very touching so we've share an excerpt here:

To Whom it May Concern:
I recently made a donation to your site in the amount of $50 from my credit card. I am not a rich man, the $50 is all I can afford. I just hope I was able to get it to go where I wanted it to.

On a side note, I only posted 1 thread on the forums. I had spent about 6 days exploring your site before I had the nerve to selfishly post my thread. While reading some threads a lot of things really touched me. Especially the "sticky" "We Are People with ALS". I just wanted to let you as moderators know that me, somebody not personally affected with ALS ,was touch by the compassion of the forum. I was brought to tears by the unselfish and helpful attitudes by all that contribute. If there is any way you could share my thanks with the entire community, please do so. You all will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Shaun

BTW The one post I did write was answered with reassurance and love. Thanks again ALS forums.

Thanks Shaun, and thanks everybody who makes this site possible!
