I've been twitching for fifteen months, and this has been diagnosed as benign fasciculation syndrome: I had an EMG a couple of weeks after my twitching started, and while the neuro saw fascics on the EMG, he deemed them benign. I have no muscle weakness or atrophy, but I have developed breathing issues. I get breathless on exertion and have a very tight chest most of the time, with the feeling that I can't take a deep enough breath. Could this, after fifteen months of twitching, be the beginnings of respiratory onset?
