Exclamation Please read. I am terribly nervous.

I'm so sorry to bother all of you, I'm sure you have a ton of people that come here wondering if they have ALS and ask you the same questions that I might ask, I apologize. But I'm actually very fearful.
I noticed around last year in June of 2012 that my foot (left) felt funny, almost cramp-like. I don't work out, nor did I over-exert myself in any way for my foot to be feeling that way. It doesn't bother me much in comparison to what my left calf now feels like. It feels almost like there's vibrations, sort of tingeley, as well as muscle spams in both my calf, and foot. And it is NON STOP, all day, all night. Has been relentless for months now. It's very disturbing and bothersome. So of course I got on the Internet and began browsing, and stumbled upon restless leg, and then ALS.
I was wondering if this sounded alarming to any of you? Or if it sounds like the beginning of something, maybe? Did any of those with ALS experience this at first?
From what I've read I've concluded that most seem much more severe than what I'm experiencing but some answers sound like they describe what I'm feeling, yet are too vague to really tell, and cant put my fears to rest.
I appreciate you taking the time to read my thread, and give me any input that you might have (if you do)

Have you gone to the dr yet? that should be your first step. Dr G o o g l e is not the way to go. All that does is cause stress and anxiety. I wish you peace.

Vicki, I have not gone to the doctors. I do not have insurance, therefore my visits are usually particularly pricey. I only go when I REALLY, REALLY need to go. I wasn't quite sure about what I was experiencing, and I wanted to see if there was anything I could do for some relief or even insight as to what I was experiencing.
Regardless, this is very alarming to me, considering its non-stop and seems to be getting progressively worse. I should probably gather some money and go to the doctors. I'm actually very scared. Thanks for replying, I appreciate it.

No one here can give you the answer you are seeking. These diseases affect everyone differently and are hard to diagnose. If you really are worried then a dr is the only one to help you. Do you have a university hospital near you? They will not turn you away and will consider your income when it comes to paying.

I'm not exactly asking any one to give me any sort of diagnosis, but to more or less tell me if it even sounds remotely SIMILAR to what any one has experienced. (That HAS ALS.)
