The Edge

I stand on the edge of the canyon.
The deep cavern of my own soul.
I see the great creation of time.
The subtle beauty of color.

Fragile and always changing with time.
A great river feeding it.
It's blood and life.
It can be tranquil or raging.

To feel, to be enlightened.
By such raw power.
It will still be there long after I am gone.
