greetings everyone...
it looks like I will not be findng a home on this forum. I'm incredibly, incredibly grateful for a clean (four limb) EMG today, conducted by a neuromuscular specialist. She saw "no signs" of motor neuron disease....thank god. While this certainly doesn't answer what I have going on, I'm grateful to god that I can say that ALS isn't it. I believe the next step will be a muscle biopsy and sleep study.

Thank you for all the kind support. There are so many of the PALS here that are now in my nightly prayers.

Sincerely,
bri

Glad to hear your good news Bri. Hope you find out soon what is going on with you. Take care and your prayers for Pals are greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas, Kim

Thats great! Merry Christmas! I am sooooo happy for you. That doesn't mean you have to leave entirely though. maybe you can stay on and help people with the fears you were facing.

Oh absolutely!
Plus, I still don't have answers, so I may need to bend some ears a bit more!

Lotus that is wonderful Christmas news! I am happy for you.

Bri-

That's a heck of a great Christmas present! Thrilled for you.

Go raise some money for a cure... many of us waiting.

All the best to you.

I'm not too surprised, because I never thought your symptoms sounded remotely similar to motor neuron disease, but I'm so glad to hear that it's been medically confirmed that you're in the clear. That doesn't mean you feel any better physically though, so I hope you get an answer soon. Congrats on the good news. Hopefully the next post you make here will be about how you got a diagnosis and now you're getting treatment and feeling better. Fingers crossed.

Woo hoo, that's great news! I hope they figure out what's going on with you, but so glad that ALS is out of the picture.

What a blessing! Congratulations! Merry Christmas and may this news bring you peace.
