I think it's sad too, but I see bravery in it too. She took a big leap of faith to go to India and subject herself to that treatment. Some may think it is foolish and squandering of money, but at least during the 8 weeks while there she had high hopes and followed a dream. Some may fulfill their bucket list and take a world cruise. She followed a dream to India. The dreadful aspect to me is thinking that the doctors doing the treatment in India know that it doesn't work--that is sickening.

Hi, Ted. Hope you are doing well since your trial treatment!

My dad called me and started telling me about a lady in McDonough that had a stem cell procedure done. I asked him if he was sure it wasn't a man, because I thought the story might have been about you! He then grabbed the paper and gave me a synopsis of the article.

I hope she can get all the time in the world with her children, as I hope for you. The difference is, you have done this to actually try to find a "documented" cure for the pALS down the road.
