What is PEG?

Sorry I'm new to all this. What is PEG? Is it the feeding tube thingy?

Yes. PEG is the term often used though it refers to a certain method of inserting the tube that is not usually the first choice for PALS. My clinic strongly recommends the RIG which is done with radiological guidance. Both end up with the same feeding tube
