i really hope the surgery and recovery goes well and its the answer to your prayers.
i noted on reading your last post about the spinal cord something regarding my son.
he is 20yrs old but a few years ago had a virus that attacked his kidneys causing damage.
during an examination the doctor noted he had a curviture of the spine, also he had a bad fall down a flight of steps at 10yrs old that weakened his lower back.
he has to take daily pain meds now but gets pain going into his legs when its bad, also he gets fassics in his muscles.
at his last kidney specialist appointment at the hospital they said to ask his doctor for a mri,but his doctor said no and only did a xray.
when he goes back in june for his next kidney appointment we will tell them and have them order the mri.
thankyou for the update and info.

I will put your husband in my prayers for a successful surgery, and an answer to all your prayers! May God bless you both!

Thanks Tom...the dr. we're meeting with on the 23rd is the ortho surgeon who did my husband's fusion last April and we felt very happy and comfortable with he and his staff (translated: we felt like people and not numbers) and he is VERY good! I'm going to do some reading on your recommended site though!

Felicia..thank you and bless your heart..I am looking at this as a miracle if this is what's going on. I wish miracles for all of us! Just be strong for your husband and be his advocate. My husband laughs that I become "Mama Bear" in making sure that all avenues are being looked at (even down the darkest alleyways) and that goes for his care as well as his diagnosis.

Olly...I'm into the "no stones unturned" philosophy (if you can't tell..lol) and I wasn't going to be happy until they did EVERY test (next on my list were bone scans and bone biopsy)...hopefully we won't need to do any more (I'm praying)! Keep faith!

Thank you lovelily...I so appreciate it!
