As you have seen here by now my mom is being told she more than likely has ALS.
Her sister died of it a few years ago. She was the only one in the family we knew of.
She was the youngest of ten my mom being the firstborn.
I have had problems for some time now with spasms in legs, feet and hands.
Lately it turned to movements that look dystonic or cramping of feet and hands.
It has progressed now to sides and to my midriff and abdomen area. I take Baclofen to help.
I just wondered if it goes there?
I have problems in the last few months walking and keeping balance but it does not feel like true weakness. Alot of bigtime spasms unlike moms fasiculations.
Have you ever heard of two having ALS at the same time, mother and daughter or such?
