Hi Ellie (waving furiously...)!

Helen dearest.......I only have that problem skypeing you, ha ha. I talked to Katie this morning in Uk. I miss my baby, luckily I have a menagerie :)

My new phone is downloading and soon to be online, I can't wait.

I hope your new rabbit is cuuuuute. Pictures pretty please :)

Got a huge bunch of SAMs friends coming over. Should be fun !

Oh well. Another post lost.

Robin, its good to see you. I had to giggle about the flowers. Keep people on their toes. I hope your health has improved. And you're moving forward. I keep you both in my prayers.

Helen, I think your naughty word may have been re boo ted or p c. But I'm thinking the former. I sent out an A P B for Odiva? Its been months. Sure doesn't sound good. I'm hoping someone somewhere knows something. I'm sure glad about your water problem. Workmen, what more can I say? Are you all normally up this late? I have been away awhile.

Have a good night, all.

Helen, I got modded on the word you used! Drat.

Everytime we walked in, one of the guys would say, "Ah, Silver Altima, your usual?" One time we went in our red Mustang... so the guy said, "Ah, Silver Altima also has Red Mustang. Your usual?"

haha! that's hysterical! :) They should put that in a movie. All of the places here have huge signs over their doors that I can't read. So I name them myself. Then, when I refer to them with other foreigners, I can just say, "Hey, you wanna go to Bob's for dinner?" There's also "Tree Restaurant" - it's the one with a tree in the middle of the room. Go figure.

We used to eat at this one mexican restaurant at least 3 times a week. That was when gas wasn't 3 to 4 dollars a gallon, our hea lth in sur ance hadn't skyrocketed and we were happy (I'm sure you remember a time like that). Anyway, we always ordered the same things. After a week or 2, our food was being served as we were just sitting down at the table. Ah, the good old days!

Good night/Good morning Ladies,

I'm heading to bed. Breakfast is on T foods for Terrific Tuesday.

Starting off with some good old Toast and for Sarah, Texas style included. Also comes with Toppings, of your choosing. I did find some turtles, the candy. Please did you really think I would eat one? And moving on, we have; please who's on the fish kick? Tuna and Tilapia for breakfast? Whatever! Now where are the other foods...........oh, there's the turnovers. And I know therre were some more goodies.....where is that bag? Oh okay, tangerines, tarts, tomatoes, trix (you're never to old for trix) and tea.

Have a good one, I'll see you in a few.

Helloooo toots. Rest well. Hear from you soon?
Engineering jobs advertised on come for tea. What next? I've reported it, but David must be run off his feet.

Hope you all have a lovely day. It's a wet winters day again, just great for school holidays? Yuck.

Waiting to hear how my dad's appointment goes today with his ALS specialist. This is only his second appointment meeting with him. Two neurologists working together originally diagnosed him with ALS. The specialist wasn't so sure even though he has alot of the symptoms. Anxious to hear the results on the tests they ran on dad. Keeping you all in my prayers. Kim

Kim, Thinking only good results, good results, good results. Praying for y'all.

Aly, yeah I saw that and had my daughter apply for the chem en gin eer po si ion. Not. Just spa mmed it. Its a shame though. Kid graduates with honors, only girl in the class, and can't find a job in her field. Anybody looking for a chem/nuke engi ne er
Can do hy dro also let me know. We're hoping the nu ke station down the road will hire her when they finish putting in 2 new re ac tors.

Been a long, long day. Still sick as a dog but re viv ed! Have a good one.

Oh, breakfast. Well what else of course. Its wonderful Wednesday. So, I brought waffles, whipping cream, watermelon, waldorf salad, wafers, western omelettes, walnuts, whole wheat toast, wild berries and whipped cream, wheat germ and last but not least Whe aties. Enjoy.

Didn't see that post, what # was it?

Toto, did you have a cold or flu? Good that you're feeling better.

I'll have some watermelon after an omelet, thank you!

Good morning friends. It's another cool windy day with showers. Going to shop for sheets for my hospital bed. I use it for pt and naps. I still can use the stair lift and walker to get our bedroom but it's getting harder. I aggravate my shoulder when pushing my walker over the carpet in our bedroom. Shoulder is getting better each day. Wish I could say that about the rest of me.

Toto....Western omelet sounds wonderful. I LOVE eggs. I have 4 dozen brown eggs (SIL keeps me overflowing in eggs) I need to use up. Keeping my fingers crossed your daughter gets job soon.

Marta....Are you close to any of the fires?

Becky....Glad your shoulder is getting better. I am envious of your weather. Not seen rain here in a very long time and temps will be over 100 for the next week.

Kim....So sorry about your Dad. I saw his pic you have of him and he has the most wonderful smile. You are blessed! And so is he!

Afternoon all!
Becky are you getting some ROM and stretching for the shoulder? Make sure that your elbow and arm are well supported when you're sitting so that the weight of the arm doesn't pull so much on the tendons and ligaments of the shoulder. I wound up with some tendonitis at the insertion point of the deltoid. Ice and Voltaren ointment have been a big help. How's Amelia doing?

Kiwi, Nice to have the driver's license renewal out of the way. Mine was good for several more years (I did 15 last time) but had to go for just a straight State ID after my wallet was stolen a few months ago. Haven't driven since last July as I have a lovely chauffeur in my daughter KK.

Aly, I love your pets' memory tree! What a lovely idea. Hope the new phone is up and running.

Robin, I hope the return to work is going well. Allen is missed so very much by his forum family. His posts were always so informative and what a wicked sense of humor!

Kim, I'm so sorry that your Dad's diagnosis was confirmed. Which Clinic is he going to be followed in?

Helen, congrats on the new addition to your furry family! I've enjoyed the trip to your gardens! I thought my fingers on my right hand were going, but the biggest problem according to my OT is my wrist, so I have a soft, fitted wrist brace(maximum support) from the store with the big W. It has two velcro straps and I can put it on and off by myself. It leaves fingers and thumb exposed so I can still use em.

Toto, No at home PT by your CALS? It's essential to have ROM and mild stretching daily to try to keep the pain at bay. We are just finishing another at home training session for KK by our local PT (who is awesome!) for additional stretches for the newly affected limbs. I find that I sleep better at night if the stretches are done right before bed. My toes and feet are especially grateful!

Di, how are the toes? Do you have photos from Italy? How about that trophy? .........I'm ready for some brownies.

Hi Linda and jamiem!~~~~~~~~~~~

Anybody heard how the cruise is going for Jen and Rog?

I'm ready for another cup of espresso! How about some chocolate bisccotti with chopped hazelnuts till Di can bake another batch of brownies?

Kim,
So sorry your dad's diagnosis was confirmed. Hugs.
