I am so proud

I feel so good about this. We had our second visit at the VA with the neurologist on Thursday. Halfway through the exam, she asked me if I was a nurse. She told me that she has never met a wife who was so knowledgeable and involved in her husbands case. She asked me how I knew so much if I wasnt in the medical field. I told her I research a lot on the computer, and she again told me how amazed she was at my knowledge and compassion. I told her that almost everything I know was from ALS forums. Because of this forum and all of you, our Doctor considers me an expert. THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY PALS AND CALS. We are an amazing family. HUGS Lori
