Hello all -

I am looking for a bedside table (hospital type)...but it should be a swing-away type, so the ALS patient can push it away as needed. Right now I have to give my PALS their IPad, cord, face mask, and hospital bed remote control all the time after she goes to the restroom. She has the ability to use her limbs right now. Any ideas?

I've scoured the web but cannot find it.

THanks,
Scott

A Google search on 'hospital bed table' should get you there.

I got a swing away table for my husband's lift chair on Amazon. It was called "Omni Tray Table - Swivel Bamboo TV Tray Table & Support Mobility Handle + Daily Standing Support Aid". Don't know if it would work with a bed, but it is a nice table - works well for the chair.

Jrzy, that's a clever table, good find.

Always looking for whatever will work! At least for a while!

that looks great Jrzygrl!

and this is exactly why it is so worth checking here rather than just searching alone :)

If she can push the table aside, an H-table (on wheels), available in tilt and non-tilt versions, can nest next to the bed and then pivot under the bed.
