Do any caregivers or patients out there have to deal with sores? My father has a sore high on the back of his left thigh. Covering it with a huge bandaid helps it to feel better for a while, but the adhesive itself makes the sore a lot bigger. It's so big now, that there is nothing that I know of to cover it with. When my baby had diaper rash or a sore , I would let the baby be naked, to give the sore some air. Now my father's sore is like nothing I've ever seen. It is impossible for him not to be sitting on it constantly, because he never gets in a bed. He spends all day in his recliner chair and it doesn't go flat, so there is no turning him on his side. I guess because he is elderly, his skin is very thin, and adhesive just rips the skin off. Any ideas?
