Maybe in the DIHALS sub-Forum only new posters be limited to 5,000 characters.

That would get to the point of their questions.

(We wouldn't have to read about them picking up their pet who hasn't gained weight, or a full paragraph on how a cookie doesn't seem to go down right or they have problems with their TV remote but type a 2000 word post)

It sure works on Twitter.!

I suspect it could only happen if at all if everyone was so limited. And they would just make second , third etc posts in a row which would probably be more annoying. Although at least we would have a couple of paragraphs!

Good out-of-the-box thinking, but I'd be a bit surprised if the software allows it...

I thought we all learned paragraph structure in school but I guess some have forgotten how to do it.
