Lift Chair Nightmare

We have a wonderful lift chair from the loaner closet that has been a God send for my husband to sit in when he's not in his power chair.

Today, I left him snoozing while I went to get prescriptions filled after a trip to the ER this morning for bronchitis. He called me while I was at counter. He was wearing slick running suit pants and had slid down into the chair and couldn't pull himself back up. He was already having trouble breathing and this position certainly wasn't helping. He was stuck like that until I ran home to help him out of the chair (with much difficulty). Lesson learned.

We found the best pants for my husband were sleep pants in a solid color made from tee shirt like material. They have plenty of give at the waist, the fabric also has some give, Best of all they have a fly, makes using an urinal much easier. Found them in light grey, dark grey and navy blue. They look like real pants not sweats.
