Sunday morning i woke up couldnot move my right hip a pain went into my thigh i was

lying on my back i had to get in a setting position in order to get up than that is when i

found out that i can no longer put any weight on that leg i have been walking on cruches

for about nine months now i cant seem to stand on the cruches for to long . went to

primary doc on monday an he order xrays of spine,hips when i was placed on table i had

to lay on my back an i was in so much pain i cryied but i did get the xray

its Wed, and i am waiting on result. has anyone had this to happen to them.:-(
 
It sounds like siatica, not ALS. What did the doctor say she/he thought it was?
 
Yes, I doubt it's connected to the ALS. Walking a bit crooked and using crutches, which throw you a little off balance, can play havoc with your back. Hope the pain settles. It should given time.
 
What Marta said plus, it could also be lower back problems. Something could be out of place causing a pinched nerve.
