Female young and scared need friends that can relate

Contact your nearest ALSA chapter (not sure where you are in tristate). They may have a support group in your area. They can help put you in touch with someone your age. Try not to be scared. Try making a to-do list with a few top priorities for now. It's a long road and you will find strength from unexpected sources.

I want to say hello to you and thank yo so much for reaching out! I sent you a
friend request on this site too, so let's chat! Sending yo a big hug!

Sorry you are here. Welcome, you have a ton of friends here no need to look any further.
TEDH5, no matter what the problem you and Al and all my other friends are always so helpful with links, or where to go to get help. All my CALS & PALS ROck:)

I live in New Jersey and have ALS. The Greater Philadelphia of the ALS Association has a lot of support groups. Most of them are too far for me, but they may be more convenient for you.
