Today i lost my wonderful husband of 18 years to this awful disease . my heart is broken and i have never hated anything as bad as this disease. it had sotle my childrens father and my grand babies papa. He had it fro 13 ywears what the doc told us and it they just diagnosed heim 2 years ago/it is a cruel disease to take everything a little at a time like a thief that just tkes a little at a time. thanks for the advice i have receved off of here.it helped us to understand things , Luv ya forever BIll Baber.

no not driving nor walking but he goes to work about every day with me , we own a business he drove till aobut 4 years ago . he gives out orders to salesman and does alot of customer relations lol

Did u say 12yrs. and still walking and driving on ur own ?tell me more at stories of hope

I dont' know alot about the patch but Eddie won't take it because of the side effects associated with it. They are talking to him about a dilaudid pump, but he is still able to go places and doesn't want to be tied down. They have increased his dilaudid to 16mg x 4 hrs with an additional 8mg every two hours for breakthru pain. Hopefully this works for him, if not, then we will find something else. I guess everything is going as expected, lol. ALS hasn't gone away. It is getting harder and harder to keep up with the needs of my hubby. It doesn't leave alot of time for the computer. I usually have it on, but am almost never in front of it. so how are you doing?

Hi ! thank you just wanted to know if anyone else has a peg tube and also a diabetic pump . H e had his put in yesterday having hard time with it lotof pain. I hate to sound predujuiced but i agree Kentucky is the most beautiful state . thank you again
