I appreciate your note, APL55. Honestly, I don't know what's causing your level of misery, but Hopkins IS the place to get an answer. I'm very glad you're able to work on getting in to see them. I think you don't get more responses here due to the fact that no one has an answer for you. At least, no one who is presently here looking. I always hesitate to say something when I feel so inadequate. If you get more information and end up by way of Hopkins with a form of MND or another disease within this forum, you will be be-friended and helped or at least listened to. This really is a great group of people and very caring. I hope, however, that at Hopkins you'll be told that in fact you have a treatable disease, and then be helped. APL55, check out a thread called "My Brother", by DCL1964, from 3-22-2010. It reminded me of your situation. Also, post again, because when you have 10 posts, you can begin sending and receiving private messages through the forum. Forum addresses are not allowed on the forum or here, in an open message. The only www. addresses allowed are for youtube, or else a moderator has to hold your post and check the other address for viruses and such. A good reason to be able to PM.
