If you are concerned you might have ALS, please first read the below two stickies by Rose and Joelc. Most of the concerns raised by newcomers are addressed by these threads.

If no one is responding to your thread or question, chances are it is because you would have found an answer to your question if you had bothered to read the stickies first.

Please also understand that the best place to get answers is from your doctor. We aren't neurologists. Even if we were, there is no way we could diagnose you over the internet.

If it is support you want - we got it.

If you are looking for a diagnosis or medical advice - go to your doctor.

I'm going to start taking a hard line on those posters who would have obviously have had their questions answered if they had bothered to read the stickies first.

These individuals are too much of a strain on our resources.

If they can't be bothered to make a minimal effort to help themselves they should not be wasting our time.
