I just thought I would mention a very good book about death and dying, it's called "Dying Well" by Ira Byock, MD,--it helps to think about how to have the all important conversations, how to help your PAL think about things that must be done before they can rest...I'm having that deeper level of talk with my PAL soon, and this book has given me a way to do it.......I also read Final Gifts years ago when my dad died and found it helpful.
