Hello to everyone here and I hope you are doing well today.
My story in short is I was having problems with my left lower leg and feeling weak and twitching. Also I had a burning feeling in my hand in particular my thumb and index finger with a feeling of stiffness in the area up into my forearm. My primary care doctor sent me for an EMG and NCS. I don’t know the reason behind this, I thought it might have started with an x Ray or mri.
I had the NCS on my left arm and left leg and EMG on my left leg. Please see attached the results. I just got got the reports and I am waiting on a follow up with my PC doc as doc doing tests said nothing to me.
I know it says all normal but the NCS seems to be done only on my little finger side from what I can see, I Google ulnar.
What I am asking I suppose does a normal EMG of my leg muscle say in general I’m ok from ALS. It was the twitching that really bothered me in my leg as it’s constant and has been for a while and when I Google it it lead me directly to Als.
Thanks for your time in responsing in advance I assume you have much greater needs than answering my questions. Much thanks Patric
