In your first Thread you wrote,

("Concerned about several issues such as:

*Shallow Breathing/Constant Yawning and Gasping
*Sometimes having trouble getting words out
*Pain in the left leg mainly in thigh/knee
*Twitching mostly in the left leg but also in other areas

I've had constant and excessive yawning for at least 4-5 years or more, the gasping for air/shortness of breath I have had for around 3 years now, I have had Asthma for nearly 30 years, although I know these issues aren't due to Asthma and I don't have wheezing/coughing. I am seeing a Respiratory Specialist in 2 months time.")

BUT THEN YOU WROTE,

("The same month this started (October) I went to see a Neurologist because of Headaches, I also mentioned the leg twitching, he tested my reflexes and everything and he seemed happy enough that everything was ok, I had a Brain MRI was was completely normal.")

With all your ills that you are now trying to convince yourself (and us) of being ALS... you went to see a neurologist for HEADACHES !? and then say to the neuro, "Oh by the way... I have "twitches" in my left leg."

You need help and doubtfully it will come from a neurologist... but maybe he /she will recommend a good shrink that you really need to see.

Hi, I did go and see a Neurologist last October due to headaches which were diagnosed as Migraines after a clear Brain MRI, I also saw him because of leg twitches but he wasn't too worried about them.

I am still under the care of my Rheumatologist who i have been seeing since January amd he is concerned about my left leg and has ordered a Spine MRI.

I also have been recently diagnosed with COPD, I have Asthma too. My breathing has been shallow for quite a while now and my back, neck and ribs hurt when I breath which is why I worry about Repiratory onset. I am still under the care of the Respiratory specialist.

Also I have been having difficulty swallowing, excess saliva and problems swallowing for a while too which is why I was concerned about bulbar.

My left leg is very troublesome and as above the Rheumatologist says my left ankle jerk was reduced compared to the right, also theres the neural slump and leg raise issue, is it totally correct that the left ankle jerk isn't ALS/MND? The Rheumatologist was also concerned as my left thigh has a slight loss of sensation.
