Mike, i am so appreciative of your wisdom and outlook on life and its challenges. I am new to the site and have gained so much from the experience and input from you and many other people as well.
My husband was recently diagnosed with ALS (May 2008) and as a nurse, I was terrfified with what our future holds. Gordie (my husband) is a very positive optimist who sees this as an unfortunate reality but is grateful that he was given 63 years of good health.
