Where to contribute to ALS research?

Hi,
Im running art shop and also e-shop with photographs. I got the idea that if somebody contributes to ALS research I would donate the item/photo them for free..I would only like to know those people who contribute recieve some confirmation or so?

Hi Blizna,

That's a nice idea. My vote for where to contribute for ALS research would be the ALS-TDI (ALS-Therapy Development Institute) in the USA. They are a high-powered, not for profit institute dedicated exclusively to finding a therapy to slow down, stop or cure ALS. Here's a link:

donations in the uk

I have a fundraising page on justgiving.com where people can donate online to the MND association uk...their name is listed so it shows to everyone and the tax is collected by the just giving site, when anyone donates they are sent a thank you email.. Also when people give me cheques (made payable to MND assoc, I pass them on with the doners name and address if possible, then the mnd assoc write to them to say thank you. dont know if that would help where you are.
