Hi,

I am looking at some of these vans and they cost a lot of $$$. Do you think it's worth buying one? Here in Madison, WI, there is a para transit service which comes to your house to pickup you up and drop you at your destination. They are wheelchair accessible and resonable in price. What do you think?

Nishant,

It depends what you want to do. If the bus does the job for you, it is a lot cheaper. I bought a van 3 years ago and can't even imagine life without it. It is my lifeline. I drive it to work, shopping, events, travel and visiting friends. No advance planning required. I found a used one online in the USA for a considerable savings over what I could buy one in Canada even after I had it shipped across the continent and flew 1000 miles to pick it up.

If you can afford the van I say go for it. It has been a life saver for our family. Seriously gives us so much freedom to go where ever and when ever we want. Good luck...
