Just spent a couple of nights at the Casino... (not something for everybody) but I left a lot of worries at home. I've spent the same at the beach, fishing off the pier, walking the beach... all the time there I didn't stand a chance of winning a dime. Again, a casino isn't for everybody but I got away for a few days. " Anyway... had a good time.
Hey Max, I have a hat very much like yours in the picture, mine is supposedly made of kangaroo skin and breaths great in the summer (hmm actually I guess it breathes better then me).
Kim, I play poker but I can give you (and all) a few tips on the slots.
Never play two machines (side by side) at once. You increase the house odds.
Always play the Max Bet. (Be careful on penny machines it can be as much as $4.00 dollars. But, see below)
At the end of your Players Rewards Card (the card you put in the machine) fix a small watch, set it by the play button. For example, on a Max Bet machine of $1.25 play once every 15 seconds. Jumping up... on a machine that the Max bet is $5.00 dollars play once every 30 seconds. On a Max bet machine of $10.00 dollars play once a minute or more.
Do not hit the button as soon as the machine stops. Playing fast has no advantage for you. The house... yes.
The machines are Random Numerical Generators. The machines are running the numbers until you hit the button, then it stops at that sequence of numbers.
If a machine goes cold, leave it. Some casinos can change the payout percentages of a block of machines any time to any percentage.
Avoid machines were several of the same add to a mega jackpot. Or... give them a try for just a short time.
Anyway... there's more but some readers may not care for this subject.
Hi Clearwater I like the casino every great once in a few years but I always plan to lose what i bring in and have come out ahead on most of those occasions or broke out even. Actually went in with friends after work before for the buffet mainly and winded up not bringing much for the machines turned out I had a 1.25 and actually came out with 67 bucks and some change lol!
I have never been to vegas, and only got to go gambling once at the seminole hard rock in Tampa for my 50th. I found the slots boring and quite lonely. I would have liked to have played roulette, but was intimidated. I did play blackjackand had lots of fun! I sincerely thought I would get lucky and win enough to buy a car! (was a bit of a daydream I admit). I walked out with $50 on the plus side though! LOL
The luckiest I ever got in Vegas actually was when I found a hundred dollar bill laying on top of a row of vacant machines. I snatched it up in a hurry. I did stand around for a few minutes to see if someone showed up and acted like they were looking for something. But, I sure was going to wave it in the air and say "Did anyone lose this?" Lol
