What is your special place?

This is the walking path I use for exercise and rejuvenation. The sound of the wind whispering through the pines speaks to me of life.

Before ALS my special place was standing at the edge of the water on Indian Rocks Beach (near Clearwater Florida). Now, my special place is immersed in the world of a good book. My memories also remain a wonderful place to go. I'm blessed!

It seems hard to find one these days as everything reminds me of the husk that I am and am becoming. I would have however to pick my wedding day just over half a year ago and the look of happiness my wife once had.

Jeanau, Indian Rocks beach... I remember it well. At one time I lived on 10th Ave. Many memories of walking out on the old fishing pier at sunset.

When we still had our little mobile in Largo to escape the winters in, we loved going to Indian Rocks and watching the sunset. It was one of our favorite places to watch the rhythm of the world...the sun...the waves...the gulls...the people...and especially the little ones!
