What CBD Oil do you use?

I started with the advanced. It's more cost effective. Multiple companies now sell Charlotte's web, not just the Stanley Brothers. I found one that had 20% off. Just make sure it's Charlotte's .

I was referencing kims post from the previous page.

Gotcha!

Both Charlotte's Web and Stanley Brothers are trademarked.

Stanley Brothers developed CW. They still own it but other companies sell it. I've seen some ads for tomorrow buy one get one half price or buy one get 20% off.

Yep, they're just north of me.

The also sell under the SB, Stanley Brother's, label. Not just CW.

The chocolate mint actually tastes good! I just got my delivery of medical cannabis. Since I switched dispensaries, I got a 30% first-time customer discount so I ordered 14 bottles each containing 200 mg. of Indica. I'm impressed with Trulieve and how they operate....at least in Florida. My local neuro also promised me he'd jump on the bandwagon because he specializes in pain management and hopes to get many of his patients off opioids. I'm suppose to work my way up to 40 mg each day. The prescribing doctor said I could still continue to take Charlotte's web throughout the day. The Indica is suspended in organic olive oil and it's easy to measure. I will start tonight before bed. I'm going to start with 5 mg. I've been taking candy for about six months but I think the strain used in it was hybrid or sativa.

I never smoked weed during high school and I don't like the taste or feeling of booze, so this tickles my 81-year old brother who never misses a day without his one bourbon before supper.

I use an oil that has 12.5% THC/ 12.5% CBD. THC has wonderful anti spasmodic properties. You don't get the full benefit from pure CBD. The combination has gotten rid of opioids and baclofen. And you do not need to take so much that you even notice a buzz. I take a larger dose at night as a sleep aid.

Vincent
Could you share the name of that oil with us? Very curious. :)

It's useful to know the amount in milligrams rather than percentages. That's why I changed dispensaries. I always like to know how much I'm taking.

Dispensaries have different ways of mixing product. Some are pills, some suspended in olive oil, coconut oil and some in edibles. I've tried all of them and find that sub-lingual suspensions work best for me now and will work best for me if and when I have swallowing issues. You can take them under the tongue, put them on food or into a feeding tube, mixed right in with your meal.

Usually when a doctor prescribes medical cannabis, the order goes in a state-wide system along with your ID#. Since Vincent lives in Canada, he'll have to tell us how it works up there. Unfortunately, Texas only allows low THC product. Florida was the same way until this year. Low THC has benefits but for pain, cramping, spasticity and other ALS-related symptoms, higher THC is warranted. People who really see the benefit of cannabis have gone elsewhere in the restrictive states. Charlotte's web is 0.3% THC and the max in Texas is 0.5% last I checked. Translated to milligrams, you'd have to take a pretty big dose for it to be therapeutic. I do believe low THC, as long as it contains the whole plant, is very beneficial. Charlotte's web saved so many children with epilepsy and that is proof enough for me that even low THC is neuroprotective. How much benefit for ALS we'll never know but I do know that people in my support group got free from opioids by smoking weed. I don't think smoking is a good idea for PALS for obvious reasons but I've seen enough proof that cannabis is something I'll continue to take.

I can't find the sb website. I find the fb page, but the store link doesn't work. I think that is where they sell the thc product. If you can't post it here, would someone pm me or post it to my visitor messages?

note that THC cannot be mail ordered, unlike CBD

THC oil

today i got 10ml of thc. when i was kid, we sometimes smoke marijuana, but this is something from hell.
very specific smell.
put on a cake, swallow and you are leaving this world.
that is not a point.
i never tried something like that to slow down my als, or even get cured, but there are some people for sure who know actually what are effects of thc on als.
it looks like mayonaise, smels like... i dont know, but i put 1 cm tiny peace of "mayonaise" yesterday, and i am still on a other planet. hardly writting.

what exactly can it be for? in my country there are no als patients, no als experts, but strong thc is a peace of cake.
friend of mine, she had a cancer, she is told to use 1 mg daily. 3 months therapy with one gram!!! she is told to be cured completely. lets see it.
what about THC effects on ALS?
any guru here?
i made cocktail of l-serine 30grams, creatine monohydrate 10grams, bcaa5 g, add some mg, b vit, q10 200 mg (with oil only, cause q10 will not soluble more than 30 miligrams if theres no any kind of oil. i feel ok and i dont know is it thc or cocktail.

I use cannimed oil, 1:20 CBD; per ml, 20mg Cannibidiol and 1mg THC, per ml. I take this 2x day through the day, and at bedtime use 1.0 ml of 10:10 which is 10mg THC and 10mg Cannibidiol per ml. Both oils, the producer suggests starting at 0.3 ml and titrating upward 0.1 ml day until one reaches the therapeutic dose. I recall my neurologist advising me there is a neurologist in Montreal advising als patients to try it, and there is either a study underway, or one in development to see if CBD oil has any effect on slowing progression, or at least easing some of the symptoms. I originally was prescribed cbd oil for chronic pain, before using it as part of my als treatment, as baclofen, was not helping much for cramping as much as hoped.

Any details of this study would be welcome.

New here. Wife diagnoised 12-20-2017 but not by specialist. Awaiting appointment. Taking Tylenol now for pain and twitching. Worried about affect on liver with constant usage. Can this Charlotte's Web pot stuff be a reasonable substitute or should we wait on the specialist recommendation?

Looking for CBD oil (THC is still pretty illegal) in Germany, The Stanley Brothers Charlotte's Web which so many of you recommend is only available as an import with horrendous fees for postage.
There is some stuff they offer at the pharmacy, Optima Health CBD oil and one from Hirundo Products. Any of you know those?
Does anyone have recommendations as to what and where to get in Germany?
