My husband had mostly smoothies for about a year. Like Laurie said...nut butters, greek plain yogurt, fruit, honey, almond milk, etc. Can all make a high calorie high quality smoothie.

We have a nutri ninja which does a great job. You have to be a little careful of seeds in berries. Also, a wide straw, like tervis sells, is easier to suck thru than a narrow one. Mostly you just take foods that are loved in throw them in making sure you have protein, good carbs, and fiber.
