Join us for this important program about when and how to discuss an ALS diagnosis with children, whether they are primary school age or adolescents. Dr. Basu will share with us her expertise in promoting healthy coping and resilience in the face of trauma and grief. Using a developmental lens, her research aims to understand how protective factors, such as parental emotional availability, shape children’s development in the context of adversities.
