Hi everyone,

I am feeling super worried about all of the symptoms i am having. Im a almost 32 year old mother of 2 babies. It all started about 2 months ago i noticed my arm and hand felt off a but weaker than usual and getting tired more easily. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago and i have developed full body twitching, especially on my right side lower leg and weakness in right hand/arm. Neuro did not notice weakness on initial exam but saw the fasiculations of what i was describing on my right thumb, right leg, feet, mouth, etc. had MRI few months ago which was normal. Waiting for my EMG that is not until June. So far all bloodwork has been normal. But this twitching is crazy and my right calf feels tight.

Has anyone presented with these symptoms first? With my right calf feeling tight could this potentially lead to drop foot? Thank you for the support

I can't recall a tight calf leading to drop foot. Widespread twitching argues strongly against ALS. Perceived weakness without clinical weakness does as well.

As a mom of 2 littles, I would make sure your PCP is tracking your iron, B vitamins, CBC, and electrolytes, and that you are prioritizing sleep as much as you can, because that colors every physical issue you have described.

And since a lot seems to be going on with your R side, I would evaluate whether your pillow/mattress/sofa/the way you're holding the kids could have a bearing as well.
