Hi everyone,

My mom was diagnoses in Feb of this year. We have gone through many changes and she has been on hospice for two months. She has a peg tube and we had some issues early on but the hospice finally got her on the right stool softeners and laxative. For the last three days she has been vomiting everything. From what I've been reading this doesn't seem to a common als symptom. Has anyone else had this issue?

Channing

Hi Channing & welcome,

Get mom checked over asap to determine underlying cause of vomiting. She'll quickly become dehydrated and may need electrolytes fluids.

Ells.

that is not common for ALS

Follow Ells advice,

pat

Not common but potentially dangerous from the risk of aspiration. Try to get hold of her doctor asap. Best wishes!
