Does anyone know:

If you purchase a voice amplifier through Medicare, will they then pay for an augmentative speech device down the road?

The Speech Pathologist had the doc sign a prescription for the Spokeman Voice Amplifier and Hi-Gain 3-way Microphone.

Got an answer from the SP for anyone that is curious:

Yes, Medicare will cover- it is a different code entirely for a communication device.
