I am very glad to have found this forum!

My grandmother died almost 20 years ago from complications of ALS. Yesterday I saw a neurologist for the first time and was told that ALS is a possibility. I see from reading some of the posts here that I am in for a long wait for a final diagnosis.

Thank you all for being here to answer questions and to be an inspiration to those of us that are waiting and scared.

Welcome Pythia. Sorry you have joined the ranks of the ndiagnosed but every day undiagnosed really is a good day in a way. Hope we can be of some help along the way.

Pythia,

Hope you do not have ALS! Please let us know how your testing goes and what the results are. It amazes me that it takes so long for some to be diagnosed. My husband was diagnosed right away.

Good Luck!
