Good Evening,

I wanted to share an update from my last post. I met with a rheumatogist and he believes i have some sort of inflammatory issue and has put me on Predisone and Sulfasalazine. I felt a bit better - Some of my symptoms have improved such as facial tension. I am not yet diagnosed.

Two follow-up questions and will not post again:

1) How come there is no mention on this forum of vertical heterophoria (Binocular vision) if neuro muscle weakness may be the cause?
2) I still have that pain when i speak (vocal fatigue) but it gets better with rest but pops back up regularly. In ALS would this pain continue or does it have ups and downs like i am having?

Thank you and god bless.

Previous thread Worried

1 there is no mention because it isn’t an ALS symptom

2 no you are not describing an ALS pattern

Sorry, my friend, but vertical heterophoria ( I have both vertical and horizontal heterophoria) have nothing to do with ALS, hence why it is not mentioned.
