Hello everyone
I already posted several months ago and I always thank the members of this group for taking the trouble to reply.
I am almost 22 months since the onset of symptoms and my symptoms continue to progress.

I've had 3 emg's including the last one a year ago now. I was 10 months after the onset of symptoms. So it's been a year since I stopped having tests because I wanted to get on with my life, but the progression of symptoms makes it difficult to move on.
My current symptoms:
Atrophy of the inside of my feet Daily cramping of the feet and visible atrophy where I have fasciculations. The fasiculations are paired with the muscular atrophy and I can clearly see lines on my foot showing the lack of muscle.

Surprisingly, I've put on 10kg and my stomach is leaning enormously forward due to a lack of muscle in my lower back. It's impossible for me to sleep lying down because I feel a huge tugging in my back and ribs, which makes it difficult to breathe and causes fasciculations in my back.
Recently, I've lost more muscle in my neck, and tilting my head to one side causes a painful tugging sensation as well as neck fasciculations.

The muscle loss in my hands my feet my neck my back doesn't leave me alone.
With a clean emg after 10 months I should be relieved but the symptoms keep getting worse.

I've put on 10kg but it's all fat, especially in my abdomen, and my back leans forward a lot with a hollow in my lower back.

I have less strength when I pick up thin objects like a laptop, my forearms compensate for the lack of muscle in my hands.

Should I see the doctor again?

Thank you for your compassion to all the members of this group.

Hello-

If you were not reassured by your doctor, by all means, return for an examination and discuss with them again. You were asked the last time you posted not to post again, as the forum is not equipped to provide you the repeated reassurance you need. This forum is simply not the place to get the medical care you are looking for. We are a forum for those diagnosed with ALS and caregivers for those with ALS. We can provide some information and reassurance, but always advise people that their own doctor is best suited for anything further.

I am closing this thread and once again request you do not post here again. Your fear of ALS is clearly overwhelming you despite being reassured by members here, been cleared by multiple doctors and received at least 3 clear EMGs. We can not provide you what you desire here. Please speak with your doctor.
