UMN Symptoms

Hey Robert- I just recently within the last month started having the issue of my cheeks hugging my teeth. Its worse on the right side. Is this for sure a UMN sign? If so, what does that mean in terms of ALS? Does it point more toward it? I mentioned this to my neuro, he didnt say to much about it.

sympathise with your cheeks hugging your teeth, mine have been doing it for ages, and my jaws clench really tight as well..I am constantly biting the inside of my mouth..just recently my eyes have also been going into a kind of spasm and are fixed in one position for long seconds...I have bulbar onset UMN problems

I love your postive spin with the mouth sx. MY checks are hugging my teeth...it is so nice and cute sounding. I always described it as 'my face is caving in'. I guess I have a flare for dramatics!
