Hello.
Starting 3 weeks ago, woke up to twitching, tingling, burning legs. Both legs - also felt like things were crawling.

Still happening when sitting or laying. Also in arms and have some eye twitching but not as constant.

I went to my pcp and passed that neuro exam (she did a visual). I am waiting on my referral for neurology.

I do have back - disc issues. But that wouldn't affect my arms.

Could this be als?

Spine issues can certainly affect your arms, depending on which discs are affected, but I would also ask about ruling out RLS (which can affect the arms, despite the name) and other related sleep disorders. Still, burning can be as simple as getting overheated or a scratchy blanket, so I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that you have any neurological issue.

As regards ALS, you haven't described it at all, fortunately.

Neurologists treat hundreds of conditions, so it's good you are seeing one soon.
ALS wouldn't be in the picture at all. I hope you solve this soon.
