Good Morning,

I hope everyone is doing well during these tough times. I am a 17 month twitcher, which I know in the scheme of things means nothing. However, since this has started not only has my twitching worsened, but other symptoms have as well. I had an initial EMG done a month in which showed increased amplitude and polyphasic units in my right foot and calf. A year later I was diagnosed with hyperreflexia. Over the last few months the twitching has gotten extremely bad All over my body, but especially in my right calf. I have also noticed walking difficulty, almost like a limp developing in that leg. I’d like to know if I should get on the schedule again to see my neurologist. I’m attaching a few pictures of my calf so you can see the difference between right and left. Thank you for you help!

People with ALS cannot rsise up on their toes if their calves are affected. You've been cleared of ALS already, what makes you think you know more than the doctor who performed the exam to doubt him? These are very stressful times and you no doubt feel stressed by all that is going on. Stress can cause all the symptoms you are describing. What you haven't described is ALS. That's great news. Best of luck to you.
