I have been a bit concerned now for a few months over body wide twitching and weakness. My twitches are mainly in the calves, but also are in my arms, legs, feet, eyelids, stomach, shoulder, and even back.
I also have a question on what is perceived as weakness. If I pick up something and it feels heavier than usual is this weakness? I also tremble if I hold my arms up above my head, or if I was to hold my leg up while laying down. Basically, whenever I am using my strength to hold anything up I tremble and can't hold it for very long.
I also have severe cramps and tightness/stiff feeling in calves, hands, legs.
I have no insurance right now, I lost it in my divorce so it is too expensive to go to a neurologist, but I am trying to get a new job and hoping I will be able to get coverage asap.
I know no one can diagnose, but did this sound remotely like a possibility of ALS?
