The supplements that Dr. Bedlack recommends are listed above under Kellysals post. There is one more he recommends, I can't remember what it is. It starts with a P. Kim do you know what it is? Make sure that if your going to take the supplements that they're good quality so your not wasting your time or money.

Also like Kim stated, if your going to take Tudca start slow and work your way up in dosage. Some people have stomach issues with it.I started with 250mg and have worked my way up to 2000mg a day the dosage that was used in the AMX0035 trial. I have experienced no stomach problems.

What brand of TUDCA? I see someone stated what dr. Bedlack recommends for Curcumin, but what about TUDCA?
I tried one brand and found out it was just powder. I guess that is why it was half the price of others.
Now using Double Wood brand (is it OK to mention the brand?), and it has a lot better reviews.

Mgh said to get Nutricost. I saw someone somewhere had sourced the kind used in the Centaur study though. I think from Europe but I haven’t explored that

Nutricost is a highly recommended brand of Tudca. Double Wood brand is also listed in the top 5.

I've been using Nutricost. Haven't tried any of the others.

I take Nutricost Tudca. It has created no stomach issues for me, I started once daily and recently stepped up to twice daily.

Can I ask - Over what period of time would it be advised to build up from 250mgs to 2000mgs daily?

It has been a long time but I think my clinic said to add a pill every week or two and to divide it into 3 doses ending up at 750-500-750. If people want to go more slowly though I think that is fine. Of course with Amylyx people started at the high dose but they did have people with significant gi upset.

Thanks to all of you for your remarks. I am in process of ordering thercurcumin from Amazon. Newly diagnosed and ready to try!

MGH just gave me the paperwork
Start with : 250 MG (.025g) twice daily
After 1 week, if you are tolerating ,increase to 500 mg (0.5 g) twice daily
1 more week, increase to 750mg (0.75g) twice daily
1 more week , increase to 1000 mg (1g) twice daily
Stay on 1000mg twice daily

I only eat two meals a day so twice daily is what I'm doing. I take a lot of supplements which, so far, have made my inflammation numbers hit rock bottom and have no effect on my other meds. A lot of it is the timing and what you take it with. I finally got my ferritin levels up high enough (with added Vitamin C) that I feel comfortable stopping the iron supplement. My free copper is now down to 8.

MGH said Theracurmin HP. I ordered it yesterday. Is this the correct mg? It seem to be the only option and the document they gave me doesn't specify mg's. I'm interested in Supplements but its so confusing . MGH gave me 4 , Theracurim HP, Acetyl-L-Caritine, Tudca and L-Serine. Dr Bedlack has several others . Is it the combination? Is Dr. Bedlack the supplement specialist?
I thought it was L-Lysine, not L-Serine?
